WEDNESDAY NIGHT SIT  has been popular for more than 15 years.  This is open to anyone who Interested in starting a meditation or contemplative practice  (there is no formal instruction in these groups, but one can learn and ask questions in the discussion that follows sitting).  There is no charge, and participation can be in person or online.

The group meets Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm IN PERSON at the Clearing, 514 Beltrami Ave. Bemidji. Chairs and cushions are provided. The session is also streamed, and can be joined at:

5:30pm-5:40pm Gather in person or online

5:40pm-6:10pm Sitting meditation (cushions, chairs or lying down)

6:10pm-6:30pm Peer to peer learning through discussion of practice experience.  The group creates space in our busy lives for silent practice, and connects us with others who meditate. Online link closes
